In this topic, we shall see how operating system acts as a resource manager

The operating system provides set of function like Memory management, Task management, Process management, Resource management, etc where due to the resource management feature operating system also acts as a resource manager because the operating system provides platform or interface on which we can access any CPU resource.

The operating system provides memory space, resource allocator, Scheduling time and interface to access any resource.

The Operating system supports various types of a resource like a printer, monitor, mouse, keyboard and various other peripherals or external devices. It also use hard-disk, USB or other internal device.
